We complete a fundraising assessment form as our first task for each new client. This process provides an in-depth analysis of your fundraising operation from top to bottom. If this is your first time running - we still complete this process but instead of measuring and evaluating your existing operation, we review, advise, and ultimately help you to select and implement everything that you will need in order to build and maintain a successful fundraising operation. Our assessment process includes research through multiple channels for the purpose of determining the following: Goals and objectives; Campaign finance regulations pertaining to the campaign; Complete candidate profile and campaign platform; Finance plan; Fundraising Timeline; Operating procedures including financial accounts, organizational structure, bookkeeping procedures, and vetting processes; Overview of fundraising vendors and their specific roles; Database functionality and fundraising tracking capability; Fundraising programs setup, implementation, management, and performance.

Fundraising Strategy & Finance Plan
Once the fundraising assessment is complete, we analyze our findings and use them to develop your finance plan and fundraising strategy moving forward. This process involves the following steps: Determining the fundraising universe which is created by each possible source of funding to your campaign and is comprised of every individual and/or entity that may legally contribute to your campaign; Segmenting each source into Source Groups comprised of Major Donor Fundraiser’s (MDF’s), Climbers (CLMBR’s), and Base Supporters (BSS); Selecting and implementing each fundraising program for each Source GroupThe HFT fundraising process is outlined for each client so that they understand each step of building the fundraising operation.
