In 2008, Neal and his HFT fundraising team rebuilt Pat McCrory's 2008 gubernatorial campaign in NC political fundraising operation resulting in the campaign raising $4.7 million in 6 months, increasing contributions by 191% while expanding the numbers of donors to the campaign by 513%.

In 2009, Harrington managed John Lassiter’s Mayoral campaign in Charlotte, NC raising more than $600,000 for the campaign.

In 2010, Harrington managed the NC Republican House Caucus fundraising operation helping them win back control of the NC General Assembly; Mark Neumann’s gubernatorial campaign in WI increasing contributions by 76% and the number of donors by 300%; and Andrew Murray’s successful Mecklenburg County District Attorney campaign raising more than seven times his opponent.
